JoAnne is an intuitive abstract painter residing in Southwest Florida. She has a passion for color and a passion to help artists. It was this passion that led her to found a nonprofit art guild and to serve as the First Vice President of the Art Council of Southwest Florida.

JoAnne believes that being an intuitive abstract painter is like being a musician only you are deaf and can’t hear the music and blind so you can’t read the notes. All you can do is feel the piece and allow it to sing the notes of color you apply and communicate emotionally to you when she has completed her song. Your job is to feel to her to understand what she is saying. I am always listening to understand the notes that should come next.
